Ruth is Co-Founder of Lakeview Wellness Center, Inc., which was established May 1, 1999. It has been her life-long dream to work with a team of Holistic Practitioners that provide complementary healing options for all people who come to Lakeview Wellness Center, Inc.

Ruth received her Bachelors degree in Social Work in 1971, at Arizona State University. She achieved her Masters in 1991, at the University of Denver, and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker soon thereafter. Her experience has been extensive in many areas. Some of these are: Personal Growth and Development, Depression and Anxiety, Loss and Grief, Life Transitions, Existential and Spiritual Issues, Physical and Sexual Abuse, Domestic Violence, Crisis and Trauma, Chronic and Terminal Illness, and Biofeedback.

Ruth sees her role as a supportive facilitator who empowers each individual to discover his or her own unique insights and answers. She is committed to providing a gentle and safe environment in which each client has the opportunity to heal. She uses many modalities in her work, such as Guided Imagery, Art Therapy, Journal Writing, Humor, In-Depth as well as Short Term Psychotherapy. Ruth also has extensive work experience with Death and Dying, Grief and Loss, and Hospice.
